Today, I have another beauty review featuring the Kate Somerville Wrinkle Warrior 2-in-1 Plumping Moisturizer + Serum.
The texture of this two-in-one serum/moisturizer is exactly the same, between the serum and gel moisturizer, with a touch of silicone. It is not runny, but very lightweight, easy to apply and quickly absorbed. You won’t feel any stickiness or grease at all.
This slightly yellow mixture has a strong fragrance. Maybe it’s floral? It is definitely not a faint white floral scent, but more like an artificial perfume. It is almost intoxicating to my nose. The smell is lingering, I don’t necessarily smell it from my face, but my fingers will keep emitting the smell until I wash them.
This product claims to be a combination of serum and moisturizer, but I found it too watery to be used as a moisturizer, especially at night when I want to seal the serum I am using. In general, this product makes me want more. Thanks to hyaluronic acid, it really helps hydrate and makes your skin look plumped.
