The pH and the fact that it dries out my skin slightly tells me that it is not as skin-friendly as you think, because it comes from a “skincare serious” brand like Kate Somerville, so it’s worth remembering.
I do like this cleanser in theory, but I find that it will dry out with regular use, so I was not surprised when I tested the pH and found that it was between 7 and 8. The instructions include using it to remove makeup, but I have never used a high-quality cleanser like this to remove makeup, because I think this is a huge waste, so I prefer to use other things to remove makeup, and then follow up this is the second Times clean, so I really like to use it.
It is a pale mint green facial cleanser with a texture between gel and cream. The product has a soft fruity scent that I like, and I can smell citrus, so I am not surprised to see bergamot and orange peel oil listed in the ingredients.
This facial cleanser can deeply cleanse the face, gently remove oil, makeup and impurities, creating a softer, radiant complexion.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash has a creamy but slightly gritty consistency, almost like a facial scrub, but as the product is massaged into the skin, the gritty feeling disappears and it becomes more smooth like a cleanser.
After using it for a few nights, my face has been cleaned up a lot and I am very relieved that I finally found something effective. I highly recommend this product. Value for money!
